Re: CGM's Rental Income Performance Update / Interim Payment on Account

In 2007 CGM offered an 'in-house' holiday rental service to Lodge owners at Clifden Glen as an alternative option to the service provided since 2004 by Self Catering Ireland (SCI). In total 21 owners asked CGM to rent their properties in 2007. We believe a further 10 owners rented their properties through SCI.

CGM is now in a position to make a payment "on account" of €2,000 to 19 of the Lodge owners who participated in the CGM holiday renting scheme for the full year in 2007. Two Lodge owners will receive a reduced payment on the basis that their property was not available to CGM for rental for the full year. Cheques will be sent together with a detailed rental report to the relevant Lodge owners next week in this regard. The full reconciliation of rental income received by CGM will be completed and a further cheque will be posted in January 2008 in order that we can include any income earned for the Christmas/New Year period. It is anticipated that this further payment will not be less than €500 and will include any monies collected for electricity charges.

CGM will continue to operate a holiday renting service in 2008 and all owners who wish to participate should notify annette.lindsay@clifdenglen.net by 16 November 2007.

Owners who rented their properties through SCI will need to make their own arrangements about collecting monies due.

Ex-gratia payments due to cottage owners under "guaranteed" rental income scheme will also be paid in late November.
