Circular 127 / 7.3.2006 / National Tree Week at Clifden Glen

It is appropriate that today we had the following trees and shrubs delivered for planting:

100 Rowan
100 Silverbirch
100 Willow

75 Ash
75 Sycamore
75 Alder

100 Escoliona
25 Arbifus
6 Pyramid Box
6 Prunius

The first 300 trees are 3 to 4 feet tall.
The next 225 trees are 6 to 8 feet tall.
The 100 Escolionia are for a hedge along the fence as you come in over the bridge.
The The 25 Arbifius is a ever green tree 3 feet tall.
The 6 Pyramid Trees are for around reception and bar.
The 6 Prunis are cherry/white flowering tree 6 feet tall.

These will be planted over the next week or so and represents the start of CGM's landscape planting programme.
