The company has engaged Taylor Architects in Castlebar to prepare a development plan that can be circulated in advance and discussed at our next AGM in March 2006.

Initial Brief to Taylor Architects

Can we add residential west of laundry and utilise 'old' reception building or integrate it into a street scape?

Go up over the hill near the pump house and develop grass roofed log homes looking north west to sea?

Consider providing an equestrian facility (simple) and developing a trek on the 200 acre site with a ring in front of club house? Simple stables required? But where?

A small Spa with 3 or 4 treatment rooms, yoga/meditation room, sauna and steam, no swimming pool, nice reception (all overlooking the river).

A small play barn to hide behind the existing club house ... climbing frames etc. Needs separate entrance to reception - 120/200 sq metres. Could be split level into hill?

We need a standard plan to open up Lodges to a patio from the dining area.
