NOTICEBOARD

Circular 107 / 18.11.2005 / Mapping and Land Regustry / Garden Sites AGM.

GMB and CGM met the Land Registry to discuss a range of outstanding issues:

1. Problems with mapping of cottages and on-going rectification programme.
2. Problems with historic registrations that were being queried by LR.
3. Problems created by 2 above in relation to smooth transfer of "garden" sites.

The meeting lasted an hour or so and a roadmap was agreed on how to proceed.

Personally, I felt we made great progress and perhaps (if I can chance fate by saying so) we will have all legals sorted in a few months. There are no impediments now only logistics. We have incured huge once-off legal and engineering costs on this issue and so it would be brilliant to know that all mapping and registration issues were finally sorted and we would not have to incur any further costs in this regard.

CGM's AGM took place last Saturday and a full report will be posted in due course.

Thank you.

Management time: 3 hours.
